Will Spain Beat The Unbeatable Italy?

Will Spain Beat The Unbeatable Italy?

Italy v Spain

Unbeaten King Returns from 37 match overall unbeaten record as of now. Don’t you think Italians deserved a medal already? They were not giving the time of the day for their opponents in the group stage and being pushed to the limit until the Italian perfection. Previous match with Belgium, the game was such a fast-paced major tournament, going for limitation of fatigue, then Italy is still top of the realm.

Close call with Spain gameplay from Switzerland, could make us think having a clear winner already. Spain really struggled to create chances with Swiss game or even having 10-man game for Switzerland. Clearly there are problems within communication level, team formation issue, or could it be the coach, Luis Enrique?

Team Formation of Italy

Injury report: Leonardo Spinazzola (Tendon rupture, no news when return), Alessandro Florenzi (Calf injury, most probably might return against Spain)

4-3-3 Attacking tactic. Most likely, Italy maintains their build up structure like in previous matches of Euro 2020.

Lorenzo Insigne &Immobile

Their patterns most likely will not change. Since Spinazzola injured will be replace with Emerson bringing the ball forward from the left-wing passing range to Insigne or Locatelli or Immobile in the middle.

Domenico Berardi &Federico Chiesa

Specialist of the ring wing, they also play inside forward and possible switching Barella as creative option at the right wing. Chiesa scored first goal against Austria, more versatile than Berardi while Berardi usually king of assist for Italy, usually do not go forward.

Team Formation of Spain

Lucky enough for Spain with zero injury report so far, have to wait a day more to know if there is any. 4-3-3 or 3-4-3 forming with Busquets sitting deep in front of the two centre backs and Alba or Gaya usually left back winger.

Ferran Torres & Pablo Sarabia

Specialist of Right and Left Wingers respectively. At times, they switch either wings which is fun things to see, example against Croatia, very unpredictable ball possession.

Sergio Busquets & Alvaro Morata

One of the best Defensive Midfielders of the world with Barcelona and Juventus’s forward. They pair up with Koke for centre back pushing or Koke and Busquets runs for defence. Their formation could change to 3-1-2-4 very quickly.

Thoughts of the game

Spain looks weak on attacking strong fort of Switzerland, at times their midfielders and Morata little bit unprogressively. I really do not think they are level with Italy, they have their own unique formation surprise attack that could hurt too.

Prediction:Italy 2-1 Spain
