PSG Won Strasbourg Without Messi And Neymar!
Paris Saint-Germain won 4-2 over Strasbourg at Parc des Princes on the same day that Lionel Messi was presented, alongside Sergio Ramos and the other neew signings, in front of the fans.
PSG won 4-2 over RC Strasbourg at Parc des Princes for Matchday 2 of Ligue 1, while Lionel Messi and Neymar were watching from the box. While Paris Saint-Germain was the better team in the first half, winning 3-0 with a great Mbappe, then the visitors tried to tie the match and almost got it.
Before the start of the match, fans at Parc des Princes were having a party with the presentation of the new signings for the first time in front of the fans. Sergio Ramos, Georginio Wijnaldum, Achraf Hakimi, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Lionel Messi were welcomed by a cheering crowd.
However, Kylian Mbappé was booed when his name was read out for the lineups. However, the forward was one of the best players in the first half, assisting Draxler and scoring a goal. But Mauricio Pochettino’s team struggled to hold their level in the second half.
Mauro Icardi scored the opener only three minutes into the match. He seemed to be offside, but VAR validated the goal. Then, Mbappé appeared to make the second with a little help of a rebound. Draxler then put the 3-0 in the score after a great combination with the forward.
In the second half, Mbappé had a chance to put the game 4-0 but he couldn’t pass the Strasbourg goalkeeper. Things got complicated when Gameiro and Ajorque scored to put things 3-2, until Djiku received a red card and Pablo Sarabia found the net to make the 4-2. Meanwhile, Messi and Neymar were entertained in the stands.
