Belgium Through To The Quarter Finals With 1-0!
Great game gentlemen! Great game! This Belgium vs Portugal game is so intense and thrilling every minutes of the game!
From just 6th minutes to 10 minutes, Both teams Diogo Jota and Eden Hazard shot on target but missed the goal. It just feels like they are already playing for the finals, how fascinating!
On the 25th minute mark, Christiano Ronaldo, the world’s favourite got a free kick from a foul, and was saved by the Goalkeaper of Belgium, Courtois!
Fun fact about Christiano Ronaldo, scored 56 direct free-kick goals in his lifetime, just one goal away from Messi’s 57. He scored 32 goals for Real Madrid, 13 for MU, 10 for Portugal and 1 for Juventus.
After 35 minutes mark, Belgium was so quick at counter attack, 2 attempts but missed both!
Awhile later, Thomas Meunier give a pass from the left winger, then OMG Thorgan Hazard scored FIRST GOAL OF THE GAME with a spinning ball at 42 minutes mark. Fans cheered loudly after. What a goal to start of for the game. Not long later, the game got little defensive on shirts pulling and then half time ended.

Portugal has really tried so hard to score with Ronaldo’s head pass, Diogo Jota with a headed pass, no goals from them so far.
At 58th mark, Diogo Jota got an opportunity and the ball hitted was way too high again and kicked to the moooon assisted by Ronaldo, seems like not a night for Portugal so far.
At 72 min mark, there is a free kick again and this time will be kicked by Ronaldo, oh boy what a high kick from the back and nice save by Courtois
Oh wow, there is drama going on at 76 minutes, somehow one of them agitated after Thorgan Hazard Belgium tackled 2 players at the same time. The main referee got distracted because there is a player got injured on the left wing of Portugal. He received a yellow card on 77th minute.
What a heck of a strike by Joao Felix (Portugal) at the Goal post on the right.
At 87’, Portugal pressure keep the game going to try to score and saved again by Courtois. What a save again.
What a game! The Goalkeeper Courtois the MAN, the MVP of Belgium!
In just 81 minutes of the game, 5 yellow cards have been given for both teams, 2 on Belgium and 3 on Portugal.You must say, the Goalkeeper, Courtois did a wonderful job defending invasion of Portugal, out of 23 attempts, 4 on point to goal and none scored. What a player. In the 2nd half, Portugal did really try of their mightiest attempt to score and I feel Jota (Portugal) could be under the weather. From Belgium perspective, very organised counter attacks and could be a lot better in the quarter finals of the EURO 2020/2021.
