Manchester United Tops The List With 5 - 1 Victory Against Leeds United!
Manchester United began their season with an outstanding 5-1 win over Leeds on Saturday.
The atmosphere was electric at Old Trafford as a full capacity crowd finally returned, which made it the perfect occasion to unveil new signing Raphael Varane before kick-off - the Frenchman's entrance to the pitch increased the noise to yet another level.
Manchester United started well and looked lively and they took the lead in the first half thanks to Bruno Fernandes, who benefitted from a sublime pass from Paul Pogba. The pair weren't going to stop there, though, as they soon delivered world-class performances.
Although Leeds stunned United after the break with a Luke Ayling delight from distance, United were quick to bounce back.
Goals from Greenwood and another two from Fernandes meant they went 4-1 up and they were running riot over Leeds.
Unlikely scorer Fred even got amongst the action and it was Pogba again who assisted. The Frenchman created four goals in total which means he's already surpassed his total of three league assists from last season - he was monumental today.
